Wooden suspension bridge at Baring, Washington. This bridge can only handle one car at a time and has a load limit of 10 tons, but it still is actively used. Recent repairs to deck and railing slats are visible. This bridge is about 2 long blocks from the "Almost world famous" Baring Post Office. Baring was another of the depots on the old Great Northern Railway about 17 rail miles from the town of Alpine, Washington. Photo by Jackie Cuddy May 14, 2009.
